Orthodox Basics: An aid to catechetical instruction in the Orthodox Christian Church
This small book began life as an attempt to help those thinking about becoming Orthodox Christians, by tackling the questions and issues they have today. Written by a lifelong teacher, academic, and Orthodox priest, it begins by questioning an ever-present quest for God, before exploring the classic topics central to Orthodox life and faith. It aims to remain both faithful and grounded throughout.
The First Word on the Orthodox Church
As part of The First Word series, this book serves as an introduction only. That is, the treatment it gives to any particular aspect of the Orthodox Church is by no means exhaustive, but it seeks to lay down the basis for further exploration for those who wish it, even while it provides enough information to satisfy those who want to make it the only stop in their consideration of the Tradition.

The First Word on the Existence of God
Can we resolve the paradoxes and contradictions that bedevil Orthodoxy's conception of God? Can we know that God exists? Do we obtain knowledge of God through philosophical argumentation or through immediate experience? Is there a good response to the contemporary argument for atheism? This little book attempts to answer these and many other important questions about the existence of God in a concise and accessible manor. It is the first contemporary introduction to the philosophy of religion written from a distinctively Orthodox Christian perspective.
